Young, beautiful, talented, brilliant, at times quirky, but definitely madly in love.

Saab marries her dream, and Jim calls their wedding day and beyond their masterpiece.

Whatever they call it, their families and friends were witness to their inspiring collaboration, turning a string of bright, deep, powerful notes into a lifetime song.

A real wedding like no other. Rissa Mananquil and Paolo Trillo’s wedding has to be one of 2011′s best surprises for me, as Tony Toni of radio show Boy’s Night Out quipped ‘it’s a wedding you’d surely like to be invited to.’ A celebration that converged Manila’s fashion, media, and political elite, it’s hard to comprehend that the foundation of the magnanimity of this event, as Rissa and Paolo made it clear to me right from the start, is the idea of elegant minimalism and romantic simplicity.

A number of photos and details of the wedding have been out on publications, articles, and media sites early on – BridalBook, The Philippine Star, Philippine Inquirer, Town & Country and Lifestyle Asia. I leave the details to them, enjoy the photos here :)

Simply one of the most memorable weddings my team and I are grateful for the privilege to have shot. And what an honor to have worked with both the fashion and wedding industries’ best.

Beyond Words

Here’s a peek at how yesterday’s wedding was incredibly both simple and stunning.

Krystle and Derek’s wedding has modern romance written all over it. There are beautiful weddings, and rare are those that rock at the same time.

The experience was made even more memorable having the chance to work with the chilled-out guys of MangoRed, whom I’ve admired long before I became a wedding photographer. Big, big thanks for the help on our slideshow. And of course, props goes to my team of brothers that back me up, Paulo Magsaysay and John Lucas Reyes for the incredible additional photos.
