Rissa Mananquil and Paolo Trillo’s wedding has to be one of 2011′s best surprises for me, as Tony Toni of radio show Boy’s NIght Out quipped ‘it’s a wedding you’d surely like to be invited to.’ A celebration well attended by Manila’s fashion, media, and political elite, it’s hard to comprehend that the foundation of the magnanimity of this event, as Rissa and Paolo made it clear to me right from the start, is the idea of elegant minimalism and romantic simplicity.
Less is truly more. Simply one of the most memorable weddings my team and I are grateful for the privilege to have shot.

I’m back from an ocean of silence across the busy seas to deliver Tippi and Nico’s engagement shoot – which is actually my first time on a yacht. Sans any planning nor layouts, I didn’t even have the slightest idea I’d be doing haute shoot on the spot. This was perhaps my quickest prenup shoot ever running less than 3 hours including the dress ups and touch ups, with none other than fashionland’s best Sidney Yap and Mickey See. I hope you’ll enjoy the photos as much as I was thrilled shooting this beautiful couple.
